First of all, my shopper was friendly punctual and communicative. However, I wish I would have read closer before g up by paying the annual fee. This app is separate from the Mperks app, they don’t link. All the history it’s learned about your shopping does not translate. You DON’T get the in store sale prices. You CAN’t redeem digital coupons or rewards. Besides paying the annual hip fee, each item costs more than what you would pay in the store. Some items, much more. This app does have some of its own “sale prices” but they are higher than the in store sale prices. It doesn’t matter if you pick up or have delivered, individual items are all at a much higher price point than in store. I’ve noticed some items that are over a dollar more per item. That adds up quick. Plus the fee, plus the tip I feel obliged to pay if they deliver, for me it’s hard to justify the extra expense. I’ve started using the Kroger Clicklist- pickup. You get all the d sale prices, digital coupons and even digital coupons for Clicklist customers only that more than make up for the $4.95 per use fee with no minimum order. Meijer needs to compete with Kroger’s business model in this arena for me to use again.

New here, I’ve ordered groceries 3 times. The shoppers have been great and I love that I don’t have to leave my home. I work full time and am getting ready to have my second baby so it’s been useful. My gripe is that this system takes FOREVER to process payments. I ordered groceries on a Thursday night. It’s now Tuesday night at 11:36pm (going to be Wednesday here soon) and the payment for my last order still has not been removed from my bank , which is a checking tied to a debit card. Trying to budget around the money that should have been taken out 5 days ago is frustrating. I’m a middle class working mom and seeing that money sit there while I’m trying to budget other things is endlessly irritating. At this point I would rather go into the store and shop and have the money removed immediately than to play this game waiting for it to be dispersed almost a week later. If that issue is resolved I’ll use the service again, but until then It’s just too annoying to continue using.

I wanted to try this out and have used it about 6 times in 6 months. But the monthly fee, tips they want $12-20 per pick or delivery, overcharging on items, frequently do not have the items you ordered so you still end up having to go back to store to get missing item, etc. The Shoppers have all been really great but the prices, extra fee after fee and lack of items the store is out of is not worth it when there are so many more affordable options now. Have tried to cancel monthly subscription but they don’t give you the ability to do so or reply to your requests from . Good idea but too limited in items to the higher prices! They should be upfront and tell you about all the UPCHARGES AND EXTRA COSTS IN ADDITION TO THE MONTHLY FEES!!! Plan on every order pick up delivery costing in total upwards of $30-$50 more. Great for an emergency but not regular life. Disappointed in Meijer's right now.

A big, glaring downside is that a huge amount of the products that are available in the store aren't listed in the app. Items that are listed on meijer's website / in the meijer app as "available at our store" are not included in the "this app" app for some reason. Sometimes the items aren't in the app at all, other times the items only show up if you try using like five other phrasings in your search query to find them. It was easy to look past at first, but after five weeks of having the service, it has actually become very irritating, as it often results in us needing to make extra trips to the store to purchase the items, essentially defeating the purpose of the app. Also, while your orders can contribute to your mperks , the app has no feature to let you use any rewards your mperks already has available to it, such as a $20 off next total purchase reward. Upsides are that it is inexpensive and great for families with busy schedules like us who want to maximize any opportunities for family time we can. Before we were planning our Sundays around grocery shopping, now we have the whole day to do whatever we want. Also, the shipt shoppers are saints! Without them, this service wouldn't be worth it at all. The shoppers are always friendly, efficient, and excellent communicators above all else.
