What is Hieroglyph Challenge? The app is a Watch App that displays Egyptian Hieroglyphs followed by their descriptions. It also includes an English to Egyptian Dictionary feature. The app has over 2,200 hieroglyphs to randomly cycle through and a full set of 50,000 words and phrases in the dictionary. The game settings allow you to change the delay between showing the glyph and its definitions, and you can set the app to automatically show glyphs at an interval you can set or manually move to the next glyph.
1. Tap the screen or rotate (flick) your wrist to get the next glyph! Each glyph includes a description, the phonetic pronunciation, the meaning, and any determinatives (where they are available).
2. If you have a Series 7 Apple Watch or later, you can use the built-in keyboard to type the English words into dictionary.
3. The English to Egyptian Dictionary features a full set of 50,000 words and phrases.
4. The Game settings allow you to change the delay between showing the glyph and its definitions.
